35 Hours in Asheville, NC

We took a quick little 35 hour trip to Asheville last weekend to pick up a Honda Element for Brad (as his poor little S10 finally bit the dust!).  We stayed at the Grove Park Inn and loved every second of it!  MG traveled great the entire trip and was such a joy!  Here's a few photos from the trip...and a little video of her first time at a splash pad in Asheville!

We had to wake MG up on Friday morning at 6:15am so we could squeeze out!

She loved tromping around the field while we were picking up the car!  (PS - this is not the vehicle we got!)

I can't believe I didn't take more pictures at the Grove Park Inn!  It was almost just soooo big and grand that I just couldn't even grasp trying to get it all in a photo!  But this is a little shot of the huge fire place in the lobby!  The entire Inn was stone!

The staff at the GPI are soooo nice and serving!  They gave Molly Grace a sweet little backpack full of crayons, a sticker activity book, cards, and a fun little swirly straw!  She loved it:)

Breakfast in bed on Saturday morning was definitely a favorite thing! 

...and our little stunt baby...taking full advantage of the great play to be had on the luggage cart!

And we can't wait to visit our local splash pad since we found out she LOVES it!

All tuckered out...

Safe to say it was a FULL and lovely trip!  Can't wait til our next family adventure!
